Today we started with a couple of final hours birding in Iron Range before crossing the peninsular and doing a little bit of birding in and around Weipa.

 We did some first birding in the Weipa area adjacent to some wetlands. Being the dry season there were not too many wetlands left however we did see a good mix of species.
