BIRDING AROUND IRON RANGE II

BIRDING AROUND IRON RANGE II - THE SEQUEL....Like many sequels this one did not live up to its original. Birding today was tough. It was hot and windy and hot.. Iron Range had been belted by a cyclone early in the year and the destruction was too easy to see. With the rainforest vegetation being smashed I think it is obvious that the bird numbers have also taken a hit and birds were hard to find. Either that or I am useless or perhaps both.

Speaking of me being useless the Bird of the Day today was a bird i failed to see. Yellow legged Flycatcher or Fly-Robin.
